The Impact of Client-Centered Practice Factors on the Performance of Crisis Support Programs

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of client-centered practice factors (process evaluation content and operational flexibility) on the performance of crisis support programs. To achieve this goal, secondary data from 182 practitioners involved in crisis support programs were used, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis was conducted to address the primary research questions. The main findings reveal that even after controlling for practitioner and organizational factors, the levels of client-centered process evaluation and operational flexibility perceived by crisis support practitioners have a significant positive impact on overall program performance. Based on these findings, specific social work implications are suggested to enhance the effectiveness of crisis support programs.
