『행동분석‧지원연구』학술지 단일대상연구설계 논문의 응용행동분석 7가지 차원 특성 분석

Analysis of the Characteristics of the Seven Dimensions of Applied Behavior Analysis of Single-subject Research Design Publications in the『Journal of Behavior Analysis and Support』

응용행동분석(Applied Behavior Analysis: ABA) 분야는 실험적 행동분석 발전 이후 70년에 걸쳐 급속히 확장되고 발달해왔다. ABA의 7가지 차원(응용적, 행동적, 분석적, 기술적, 개념적으로 체계적, 효과적 및 일반성)이 1968년 도입된 이후 각 차원의 정의는 꾸준히 개선되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 단일대상연구설계 연구가 ABA의 7가지 차원을 나타내는 기준을 충족하는 정도를 평가하고 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국행동분석학회에서 발행하는 10년간의『행동분석․지원연구』학술지를 선정하였다. 연구 결과, 기준, 연구물, 그리고 출판 연도에 따라 점수가 다양한 것으로 나타났는데, 연구 분석 대상이 된 단일대상연구설계 논문들은 응용적, 행동적, 분석적, 효과적 차원에 대한 결과 값 보다 기술적, 개념적, 일반성 차원에서의 평균 결과 값이 저조한 것으로 나타났으며, 분석적 차원이 가장 높게, 일반성 차원이 가장 낮게 평정되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 후속연구 방향에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

The field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has developed and expanded rapidly over 70 years following the development of the experimental analysis of behavior. Since the seven dimension of ABA (applied, behavioral, analytic, technological, conceptually systematic, effective, and generality) was introduced in 1968, the definition of each dimension was consistently refined. This study evaluated and analyzed degree to which single-subject design studies meet the criteria representing the seven dimensions. The studies were selected from the Journal of Behavior Analysis and Support published by the Korean Association for Behavior Analysis for 10 years. The results of this study showed variabilities among the ratings across studies, criteria and publication years. In addition, the dimensions including technological, conceptually systematic, and generality received lower average ratings than the applied, behavioral, analytic, and effective dimensions. Furthermore, the analytic dimension was rated highest while the generality dimension received the lowest. Implications for future research are discussed.
