현장연계형 실습 교육과정 설계 가능성 탐색: 학교현장실습학기제 시범운영 사례 분석을 중심으로

Designing a Field-Connected Practicum Curriculum: Insights from the Pilot of a Practicum Semester System

교육실습은 교원양성기관인 사범대학과 중등학교 현장 간의 사실상 유일한 연결고리이다. 그러나 기존의 교육실습은 대학과 실습협력학교의 협력과 연계가 바탕이 되어 유기적으로 기능하기보다는 실습협력학교가 실습생을 전적으로 도맡아 지도하는 위탁 교육의 형태로 이루어진다는 점에서 지속적으로 문제가 제기되어 왔다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학과 중등학교 현장 간의 연계를 기반으로 하는 현장연계형 실습 교육과정의 설계 가능성을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2023학년도 학교현장실습학기제 시범운영에 참여한 10개의 사범대학의 결과 보고서를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대학과 실습협력학교는 실습 교육과정의 설계를 재구조화하고 운영을 체계화 함으로써 실질적인 연계와 협력을 도모한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 교육실습의 현장성 강화를 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

The practicum serves as the primary connection between colleges of education, teacher training institutions, and secondary schools. However, a persistent issue with the current practicum model is that it functions as a form of delegated education, where the practicum school assumes full responsibility for the practicum student, rather than fostering organic collaboration and linkage between universities and practicum schools. The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of designing a field-connected practicum curriculum that emphasizes strong partnerships between universities and secondary schools. To achieve this, we analyzed the outcome reports from 10 universities that participated in the pilot implementation of the practicum semester system during the 2023 academic year. The findings reveal that universities and practicum schools have restructured the practicum curriculum and systematized its operation, enhancing cooperation and collaboration. Based on these results, this study discusses the implications of reinforcing practical training in the field.
