오스트리아 무직슐레(MusikSchule) 체제 도입을 위한 모차르테움(Mozarteum) 국립음악대학교 전문 음악교원 양성 교육과정(IGP) 고찰 연구

A Study on the Training Curriculum (IGP) for Professional Music Teachers at the National University of Music in Mozarteum for the Introduction of the Musikshule System in Austria

본 연구는 오스트리아 모차르테움 국립음악대학교(Mozarteum National University)의 여러 전공 교육과정 중 중요한 부분을 차지하는 IGP(Instrumental und Gesangspädagogik) 과정을 분석하여, 한국형 무직슐레(Musikschule)의 도입을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 오스트리아의 무직슐레는 어린이와 청소년을 중심으로 모든 국민이 참여할 수 있는 체계적인 평생교육 성격의 음악교육 기관이다. 특별히, 모차르테움 국립음악대학교 등 오스트리아 내 지정 대학에서는 무직슐레의 교사가 될 수 있는 교원을 배출하기 위해 IGP 교육과정을 운영한다. IGP 과정을 통해 예비교사들은 음악 실기와 교육학 이론 그리고 음악교육 연구 역량을 균형 있게 함양하여, 학교와 지역사회에서 음악 교육가 및 예술가로서 활동할 수 있는 전문 음악 교사로 성장할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 IGP 모델은 한국의 음악교원 양성 체제에 유의미한 시사점을 제공하며, 이를 통해 한국형 무직슐레의 도입을 위한 IGP 교육과정의 전체적인 체제 수용 및 부분적인 체제로서 학위 속의 작은 학위인 ’마이크로디그리(Micro-Degree)‘형태의 도입을 제안할 수 있다. 이와 더불어, 무직슐레 등에서 활동할 수 있는 자격을 얻을 수 있도록 IGP 1급과 2급의 공인자격증 제도를 최종적으로 제안하였다. 본 연구가 예비교사들이 폭넓은 음악적 경험을 위한 환경을 조성하는 데 기여하며, 더 나아가 한국형 무직슐레의 큰 토대로서 작용할 수 있기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the introduction of Korean-style music teachers by analyzing the Instrumental und Gesangspädagogik (IGP) course, which is an important part of the music teacher training course at Mozart National University in Austria. Music teachers in Austria are music education institutions that have the characteristics of systematic lifelong education in which all citizens can participate, centering on children and adolescents. For example, designated universities in Austria, such as Mozart National University of Music, are running IGP curriculum to produce teachers who can become music teachers. Through the IGP course, prospective teachers will be able to learn music practice, educational theory, and music education research capabilities in a balanced way, and grow into professional music teachers who can work as music educators and artists in schools and communities. This IGP model provides meaningful implications for the Korean music teacher training system, and through this, it can be seen that Korean music education also needs a specialized curriculum that integrates 'practical skills, theory, and educational knowledge'. This study introduced a small 'fine degree' format within the degree as a partial system and proposed the acceptance of the overall system of the IGP curriculum for the introduction of Korean-style music-schule. Through this, it is expected to contribute to creating an environment where pre-service teachers can have a wide range of musical experiences, and it is also expected to lay a big foundation for Korean-style music-schule.
