청소년 도박 문제의 윤리적 과제

The Moral Difficulties of Adolescent Gambling Issues

오늘날 우리 사회는 청소년 도박의 급증과 그로 인한 다양한 폐해를 경험하고 있다. 이러한 청소년 도박에 대한 현실적 문제의식에 근거하여, 본 연구는 청소년 도박의 주요 원인과 이에 따른 윤리적 대응 과제를 확인하고, 청소년 도박 예방과 도박중독 청소년 관리 등과 같은 청소년 도박문제 해소를 위한 대책을 제안하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적에 따라 본 논문의 2장에서는 청소년 도박의 주요 원인을 도박과 관련한 환경적 요인, 도박에 익숙한 교우 관계, 청소년 개인의 정서적 특성에서 찾고, 3장에서는 청소년을 위한 보편적 도박 예방 교육과 도박중독 청소년을 위한 회복 및 치유 관점의 관리 필요성을 강조함으로써 우리 사회의 청소년 도박문제 해소 방안을 제안하였다.

The prevalence of underage gambling and its associated negative effects is rising in today’s society. Based on these reasonable worries, this study identifies the primary causes of adolescent gambling, discusses the moral dilemmas surrounding it, and suggests solutions, such as managing teenagers with gambling addiction and preventing teenage gambling. In order to achieve this, Chapter 2 identifies the primary causes of adolescent gambling in terms of environmental factors related to gambling, peer relationships that are familiar with gambling, and individual emotional characteristics of adolescents. Chapter 3 suggests solutions to adolescent gambling issues by highlighting the necessity of universal education on gambling prevention for adolescents as well as recovery and healing perspective management for adolescents who have an addiction to gambling.
