대학생의 내현적 자기애가 신체화에 미치는 영향: 내면화된 수치심과 정서표현양가성의 매개효과

The Impact of Covert Narcissism on Somatization in College Students: The Mediating Effects of Internalized Shame and Emotional Expression Ambivalence

본 연구는 대학생의 내현적 자기애와 신체화의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 정서표현양가성의 순차적 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국에 있는 남녀 대학생 362명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였고 그 중 연구에 적합한 316명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 27.0로 주요 변인들의 기술통계 및 상관분석 검증을 실시하였고, SPSS PROCESS macro 4.2 Model 6을 통해 부트스트랩 방법으로 유의도 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 주요 연구 결과로는 첫째, 내현적 자기애가 신체화에 미치는 직접 효과를 확인한 결과 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 신체화 사이에서 내면화된 수치심의 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 내현적 자기애와 신체화 사이에서 정서표현양가성의 완전매개효과가 확인되었다. 넷째, 내현적 자기애와 신체화의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 정서표현양가성의 순차적 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

The study aimed to examine the sequential mediating effects of internalized shame and emotional expression ambivalence on the relationship between covert narcissism and somatization in college students. Data were collected through an online questionnaire administrated to 362 college students, with 316 responses included in the analysis. The data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro Model 6. The findings revealed the followings: First, the direct effect of covert narcissism on somatization was not statistically significant. Second, the full mediation effect of internalized shame between covert narcissism and somatization was confirmed. Third, a full mediation effect of emotional expression ambivalence was found between covert narcissism and somatization. Fourth, the sequential mediation effects of internalized shame and emotional expressivity on the relationship between covert narcissism and somatization were confirmed. Based on these findings, the significance and limitations of this study are discussed, as well as suggestions for future research.
