초등학교 고학년의 초기부적응도식, 긍정심리자본, 자기표현력 및 진로성숙도 간의 구조적 관계

Structural Relationships Among Early Maladaptive Schema, Positive Psychological Capital, Self-Expression, and Career Maturity in Upper Elementary School Students

본 연구는 초등학교 고학년생의 초기부적응도식, 긍정심리자본, 자기표현력 및 진로성숙도 간의 구조적 관계를 검증하고, 진로성숙을 저해하는 초기부적응도식에 대한 긍정심리자본 및 자기표현력의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학생 및 보호자 동의가 확인된 5～6학년을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 데이터분석 프로그램 R 및 JAMOVI를 사용하여 394명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 초기부적응도식은 초등 고학년생의 진로성숙도, 긍정심리자본, 그리고 자기표현력에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 긍정심리자본과 자기표현력은 초등 고학년생의 진로성숙도에 부정적으로 작용한 초기부적응도식의 영향을 긍정적으로 상쇄시키는 중요한 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 긍정심리자본과 자기표현력이 순차적으로 매개함으로써 초기부적응도식이 진로성숙도에 미치는 부정적 영향을 완전매개하는 효과도 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 초등학교 고학년의 초기부적응도식에 대한 이해와 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 긍정심리자본 및 자기표현력 증진의 필요성이 제안되었으며 이러한 접근의 이점과 한계를 논의하였다.

This study explored the relationships between early maladaptive schemas, positive psychological capital, self-expression ability, and career maturity among upper elementary students. It also examined whether positive psychological capital and self-expression mediate the negative effects of early maladaptive schemas on career maturity. Data were collected through an online survey of 394 5thand6thgraders. Analysis using R and JAMOVI showed that early maladaptive schemas had a negative effect on career maturity, positive psychological capital, and self-expression. However, positive psychological capital and self-expression served as mediators, offsetting the negative influence of early maladaptive schemas on career maturity. Furthermore, these factors sequentially mediated the relationship, fully mitigating the adverse impact on career maturity. These findings underscore the importance of addressing early maladaptive schemas and fostering positive psychological capital and self-expression to enhance career maturity in upper elementary students. The study’s benefits and limitations are also discussed.
