일상 속 숨겨진, 당연시 여기는 폭력들

Hidden, taken-for-granted violences in daily lives

우리는 반복되는 일상 속에서 인식하지 못하는 사이 다양한 폭력을 경험한다. 본 논의는 이와 같은 일상 속 숨겨진, 당연시 여기는 작은 폭력들을 논의하고 있다. 본 논의를 위해 사용한 방법론은 브리콜라주이다. 이는 본고에서 논의하고자 하는 주제를 재현하기 위해서 다양한 방법을 마치 짜깁기 하듯이 구성한 방법론을 말한다. 특히 본 논의에서는 탈근대주의 성격의 몽타주라는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 본 논의를 위한 자료는 면담, 관찰, 참여, 학문적 자료 고찰, 영화 읽기 등을 통해서 수집되었다. 이렇게 수집된 자료는 순환적인 자기성찰과 성찰을 통해, 일상 속 숨겨진 당연시 여기는 폭력들이라는 주제 아래 분석과 해석되었으며, 이로부터 나타나는 다양한 관련 소재들을 재현하였다. 본 논의가 가지고 있는 의미는 두 가지로 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 이러한 폭력들의 주장을 위해서 필자들은 서로의 일상들을 성찰적인 태도로 이해하고 설명, 그리고 해석하고자 노력하였으며, 이로부터 스스로의 성장 과정을 경험하였다. 둘째, 본 논의는 또한 이러한 과정을 독자들에게 보여 줌으로서 독자들 역시 스스로의 일상에 대해서 성찰할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 있다는 데 커다란 의미를 가지고 있다. People have been commonly experiencing on unheeded violences in our daily lives without recognizing them. This article discusses these hidden, taken-for-granted violences. To expose these violences, we make efforts to understand, explain, and interpret daily lives in the sense of reflective attitudes. To achieve this exposure, this study utilizes a bricolage as postmodern style methodology. We especially use a montage method in which we try to bring several situations up to show and emphasize our major themes. We attempt to use data from daily life texts rather than a particular data collection from a current methodological approach. The data were collected through various methods such as interviews, observations, academic reviewing of journals, interpreting movies, photographs, and so on. We try to analyze and interpret the data through circulations of self-reflection and reflection as well. Through those processes of reflection, we also attempt to represent the meanings of daily life with respect to violences. We assume that this reflection and self-reflection on daily lives implies a growing-up process with respect to education. In this process, as a major meaningful performance, this study also aims to provide audiences with opportunities to reflect on daily life on their own.
