중⋅고등학교 환경 교과서의 에너지 교육 및 기후변화 교육 관련 첨단과학기술 내용 분석

Analysis of the Contents on Advanced Science and Technology Related to Energy Education and Climate Change Education in Secondary School Environment Textbooks

본 연구에서는 중⋅고등학교 ‘환경과 녹색성장’, ‘환경’ 교과서에 반영된 에너지, 기후변화 교육 관련 첨단과학기술을 분석하였으며 이를 바탕으로 첨단과학기술의 구성 방향을 모색하였다. 이에 따른 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 에너지 교육 관련 첨단과학기술은 주로 에너지 개념, 에너지 문제 해결 방안, 에너지와 정치⋅사회⋅경제적 관계 영역의 비중이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 기후변화 교육 관련 첨단과학기술은 주로 기후변화의 대응 중심으로 제시되어 있고, 그다음으로 기후변화의 영향이었다. 기후변화의 영향에서는 기후변화와 관련한 미래 직업의 예를 비중있게 제시하고 있다. 셋째, 에너지 교육 관련 첨단과학기술의 서술 방식에서 ‘이용’과 ‘영향’이 높은 비율로 나타났으며, 기후변화 교육 영역의 경우 ‘영향’이 ‘이용’보다 높은 편으로 에너지 교육 영역의 결과와 약간의 차이를 보인다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 환경 교과서에 첨단과학기술의 반영 비중을 높이고 내용 요소의 수준을 미래지향적으로 업그레이드하며, 미래 진로교육과 연계하여 제시하는 전략이 요구된다.

In this study, we analyzed the advanced science and technology related to energy and climate change education in secondary school “Environment and Green growth” and “Environment” textbooks, and based on that, sought how to organize the advanced science and technology. The results of the study were as follows. First, the advanced science and technology related to the energy education mainly focused on the energy concepts, solutions to the energy problems, and the political, social, and economic relationships related to energy. Second, the advanced science and technology related to the climate change education was mainly presented as a response to climate change, followed by the effects of climate change. As a result of the effect in climate change, future jobs related to it were created in large numbers. Third, in the descriptive style of the advanced science and technology related to energy education, the ratio of the “use” and “effect” was found to be high, but in the area of the climate change education, the “effect” was higher than the “use.” There were some differences in the results for the energy education. Based on these results, strategies are needed that would increase the proportion of the advanced science and technology in the environmental textbooks, upgrade the level of the content for it to be future oriented, and present them in connection with the future career education.
