斗子鼎 銘文의 史的 재구성

Reconstructing the Historical Context of the Douzi Ding Inscription

본 논문은 서주 초기의 청동기인 斗子鼎의 명문을 분석하여, 명문에 기록된 ‘大鿆’ 의례의 내용과 이 의례가 거행된 시공간을 재구성하고자 하였다. 기존 연구에서는 이 의례를 ‘岐陽之盟’과 연결하려는 시도가 있었으나, 본 연구에서는 이를 재검토하여 ‘岐陽之盟’과 무관하다는 결론을 제시하였다. 대신 본 논문은 ‘大鿆’ 의례가 洛邑에서 개최된 국가적 전례였으며, ‘四方民大和會’와 ‘殷禮’와 같은 서주 초기의 주요 국가적 의례와 연관이 있다고 제안, 이를 통해 斗子鼎의 역사적 의미를 보다 명확히 밝히고자 한다.

This paper aims to reconstruct the historical context of the ritual inscribed on the bronze vessel Douzi Ding (斗子鼎) from the early Western Zhou period. While previous studies have linked this ritual to the “Qiyang Alliance,” this paper reexamines such interpretations and concludes that the ritual is unrelated to the “Qiyang Alliance.” Instead, the study proposes that the “Great Purification” ritual was a state ceremony held at Luoyi, closely associated with major national rituals of the early Western Zhou period, such as the “Four Corners Grand Assembly” and the “Yin Rite.” This research seeks to clarify the historical significance of the Douzi Ding.
