회절과 회절분석으로 예비유아교사교육을 실험하기

Experimenting on Preservice Early Childhood Teacher Education Based on Diffraction and Diffractive Analysis

본 연구는 예비유아교사양성과정에서의 수업에 대한 두 교사교육자의 문제의식과 비판의식에서 시작되었다. 유아수학교육과 유아사회정서교육이라는 두 과목을 들뢰즈의 철학하기와 바라드의 물질론을 근간으로 융합적 실험을 시도하였다. 회절과 회절분석을 연구방법이자 본 실험을 이끄는 하나의 도구로 사용하였다. 수업-실험을 통해 첫째, 학생-교수, 이론-실제, 이성-감성, 물질-인간, 데이터-연구방법 등의 분할과 경계가 모호해졌고 해체되었음을 관념이 아닌 몸의 감각으로 느낄 수 있었다. 둘째, 학생 , 물질, 대화, 날씨, 공간, 음악, 실, 꽃, 그림 기록에 남아 있는 온기 등 물질들의 복합적 뒤얽힘은 교사교육자들이 만들어 내고자 했던 다양한 배치 속에서 모두가 동등한 존재자로 수업에 기여하고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로, 수업과 연구 두 영역에서 동시에 발생한 회절적 실험은 하나의 수행(performativity)으로 기록, 연구 자료, 연구방법 등으로 분할되어 환원될 수 없으며, 모든 물질들이 동등하게 얽히고 배치되어 새로운 것을 만들어 낼 때 교사교육자, 학생들, 수업은 변해갔다. 그 변화는 윤리-심미적이었는데 모든 수업들이 갖고 있는 고유의 내부작용(intra-action)에 더 많이 귀 기울여야 했기 때문이다. 회절은 늘 그 방향을 알 수가 없다. 본 수업-실험의 사례를 통해 모든 수업들이 갖는 특이성이 그대로 존중되며 하나의 사건으로 서로 공유되는 장이 더 많이 만들어지기를 기대한다. This study started with two teacher-educators’ critical consciousness of class in the preservice early childhood teacher education programs. The researchers attempted to experiment on the convergence of two subjects: mathematics and social science for young children based on Deleuze’s philosophy and Barad’s materialism. Diffraction and diffractive analysis functioned as an important tool to lead this experiment and analyze the research process. First, the binary boundaries including teacher-student, theory-practice, reason-emotion, human-nonhuman, and data-methodology were deconstructed. Second, the complicated entanglement of students, materials, conversation, weather, space, music, flowers, and the warmth of documentation were factors that contributed to the class equally. Finally, the researchers hoped that this diffractive and affective class-experiment could be regarded as one of singularity and performativity.
