윤리적인 질적 연구자 되기의 경험 분석: 상담학 분야 연구자를 중심으로

An Analysis of the Experience of an Ethical Qualitative Researcher: Focus on Researchers in the Field of Counseling

본 연구는 초보 질적 연구자들의 연구윤리에 대한 인식과 딜레마 경험, 그리고 연구 수행과정에서 달라진 연구윤리에 대한 인식 변화와 그 의미를 이해하고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 상담학 분야의 질적 연구 경험이 있는 박사학위 취득 이전의 연구자 11명을 3그룹으로 나누어 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 시행하였다. 그 결과 첫째 범주는 연구윤리에 대한 인식, 둘째 범주는 혼란 속의 질적 연구, 셋째 범주는 질적 연구에서의 윤리적 딜레마, 넷째 범주는 윤리적인 질적 연구자로의 변화로 분류되었다. 연구결과 초보 질적 연구자들이 연구윤리와 관련하여 실제 연구현장에서 경험하고 있는 딜레마와 그 의미를 심층적으로 분석해봄으로써 초보 질적 연구자들의 연구윤리를 바라보는 관점의 전환을 꾀하고 윤리적인 질적 연구자로서 한 걸음 도약하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to understand the perception on research ethics of beginner qualitative researchers, the dilemma experience, and the changing perception of research ethics in the course of conducting research, and their meaning. To this end, 11 researchers with prior experience in quality research in the field of counseling were divided into three groups and interviewed in focus groups. As a result, the first category was classified as the recognition of research ethics, the second category as the qualitative research in confusion, the third category as the ethical dilemma in qualitative research, and the fourth category as the change to ethical qualitative research. The study found that by analyzing in-depth the dilemmas and implications experienced by beginner qualitative researchers in relation to research ethics, it will help them take a step forward as an ethical qualitative researcher.
