예비유아교사의 디지털 시민성 역량 척도의 구인타당도 검증 및 연령집단 간 차이 분석

Exploring the construct validity of the digital citizenship competency scale for pre-service early childhood teachers and analyzing differences among age groups

초록

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사의 디지털 시민성 역량의 구인타당도를 검증해보고, 예비 유아교사의 연령집단 간 차이를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 G지역에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 297명을 대상으로 2024년 5월 6일부터 5월 14일까지 디지털 시민성 역량에 대한 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사지는 UNESCO(2019)의 문항을 수정·번역하여 구성하였다. 통계분석 방법으로 SPSS 21.0을 활용하여 확인적 요인분석과 독립표본 t 검증을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 확인적 요인분석 결과, 67개의 문항 중 30개 문항인, ‘디지털 리터러시’ 11문항, ‘디지털 참여 및 주도성’ 6문항, ‘디지털 안전 및 회복탄력성’ 5문항, ‘디지털 감성지능’ 4문항, ‘디지털 창의성과 혁신’ 4문항이 타당한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 20-24세 연령 집단이 ‘디지털 참여 및 주도성’과 ‘디지털 창의성과 혁신’ 역량에서 다른 연령 집단보다 평균적으로 더 높은 점수를 보였으며, 예비유아교사 간 연령 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 확인되었다.

This research study is to validate the construct validity of digital citizenship competency for pre-service early childhood teachers and to analyze differences among age groups of these teachers. To achieve this, an online survey on digital citizenship competency was conducted from May 6 to May 14, 2024. A total of 297 pre-service early childhood teachers from the G area participated. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS 21.0, including confirmatory factor analysis and independent sample t-tests. The main findings of the study are as follows. First, the confirmatory factor analysis revealed that 11 items related to ‘Digital Literacy’, 6 items related to ‘Digital Participation and Agency’, 5 items related to ‘Digital Safety and Resilience’, 4 items related to ‘Digital Emotional Intelligence’, and 4 items related to ‘Digital Creativity and Innovation’ were valid. For pre-service early childhood teachers, significant differences were found in ‘Digital Participation and Agency’, as well as ‘Digital Creativity and Innovation’, between age groups, with higher averages observed in the third- and fourth-year(Ages 20-24) groups.
