역량 중심 학부모교육을 위한 학부모 역량모형 개발 연구

Development of a parental competency model for competency-based parent education

본 연구의 목적은 역량 중심 학부모교육을 위한 학부모 역량모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구 검토, 집단면접조사(FGI), 델파이조사를 실시하여 5개 역량군, 16개 역량, 40개 하위역량으로 구성된 학부모 역량모형을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 학부모 역량모형은 자기돌봄, 부모역할기본, 자녀교육, 학교협력, 자녀자립지원의 5개 역량군으로 구성되었다. 자기돌봄 역량군은 나머지 역량군의 기반이 되는 영역으로, 자기이해 및 성찰, 자기관리 및 성장, 사회적 관계 형성 역량을 포함한다. 부모역할기본 역량군은 자녀특성 이해, 긍정적 양육 실천, 건강한 가족문화 형성 역량으로 구성된다. 자녀교육 역량군은 교육관 정립 및 적용, 인성 및 생활지도, 학습지도 역량을 포함하며, 학교협력 역량군은 교육정책 이해, 학교참여, 교사와의 협력 역량으로 구성된다. 자녀자립지원 역량군은 자녀의 자존감 지원, 도전의식 고취, 주도적 진로탐색 지원, 사회 기여의식 함양 역량을 포함한다. 본 연구는 학부모역량에 대한 체계적이고 구체적인 개념을 정립하고 역량모형을 제시함으로써 학부모교육의 방향성을 제시하고 실질적인 역량 강화를 위한 기초를 마련했다는 점에서 중요한 의의를 지닌다.

This study aims to develop a competency model for competency-based parent education. Through conducting a comprehensive literature review, focus group interviews (FGI), and Delphi surveys, a parental competency model consisting of five competency clusters, 16 core competencies, and 40 sub-competencies was established. The model identifies five primary competency clusters: self-care, basic parenting, child education, school collaboration, and support for child independence. The self-care cluster includes self-understanding and reflection, self-management and growth, and social relationship building. The basic parenting cluster encompasses understanding children's characteristics, practicing positive parenting, and fostering a healthy family culture. The child education cluster comprises establishing an educational philosophy, providing character and life guidance, and supporting learning. The school collaboration cluster includes understanding educational policies, engaging in school activities, and collaborating with teachers. Finally, the support for child independence cluster includes promoting children's self-esteem, fostering challenge-seeking behaviors, facilitating self-directed career exploration, and nurturing social contribution awareness. This study offers a systematic framework for parental competencies, providing a robust foundation to shape future parent education programs and enhancing the practical competencies of parents.
