Purpose: The objective of this study is to develop a blended learning program integrating peer learning and an online virtual reality (VR) application focused on the human body structure. This program is targeted at undergraduate nursing students. The study also aims to investigate the program’s impact on them. Methods: A randomized control group pre- and post-test design was employed. A total of 42 nursing students enrolled in a human anatomy course from a nursing college in South Korea were selected using convenience sampling and randomly assigned to either the experimental or control group. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, χ² test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results: Post-intervention, students in the experimental group 2 demonstrated a higher level of knowledge than those in the control group (t=2.05, p=.049). Additionally, the experimental group also reported satisfaction with the VR components used in the blended learning program, as well as overall satisfaction with the program. Conclusion: The findings suggest that a blended learning program incorporating peer learning and VR can be useful and applied for teaching undergraduate nursing students about the human body structure. Further research is essential to validate these findings and refine the program by integrating more effective teaching strategies, learning methods, and digital resources for use in undergraduate nursing education.
