유아교사의 불안정 성인애착과 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향

Effects of adult attachment and social support on early childhood teachers psychological burnout

본 연구는 유아교사의 생애 초기 부모와의 불안정 애착과 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 C시에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집 교사 228명을 대상으로 불안정 성인애착, 사회적 지지 및 심리적 소진 도구를 사용하여 온오프라인 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 도구를 활용하여 기술통계 및 상관관계 분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 회피애착은 사회적 지지와 부적 상관이, 심리적 소진과는 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 불안애착은 심리적 소진과 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 불안정 성인애착과 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향력은 평가적 지지, 불안애착, 정서적 지지의 순으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 유아교사의 심리적 소진에는 교사 개인의 불안정 성인애착도 고려해야 하지만, 교사로서 역할수행에 대한 존중, 인정 및 칭찬과 같은 주변의 구체적인 피드백이 필요함을 시사한다.

This study investigated the effect of early childhood teachers' adult attachment and social support on psychological burnout. Data were collected from 228 kindergarten and daycare center teachers located in C city through on- and off-line surveys. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data using SPSS 23.0. The result as follows. First, we found that early childhood teachers' attachment avoidance negatively correlated with social support and positively correlated with psychological burnout. Adult attachment anxiety positively correlated with psychological burnout while not statistically significantly correlating with social support. Second, Adult attachment and social support influenced their psychological burnout specifically evaluation support, anxiety attachment, and emotional support were found in order. These findings suggest that early childhood teachers' psychological burnout requires providing specific feedback such as respect, recognition, and praise for their role as teachers.
