본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 사회적 낙인, 자기 낙인, 자기은폐 및 전문적 도움추구 태도 간의 관계를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 291명을 대상으로 낙인, 자기은폐, 전문적 도움추구 태도를 측정하였고, SPSS 29.0과 Macro PROCESS를 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 사회적 낙인, 자기 낙인, 자기은폐, 전문적 도움추구 태도 간 상관관계는 모두 유의하였다. 둘째, 사회적 낙인과 전문적 도움추구 태도의 관계에서 자기 낙인은 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 낙인과 자기 낙인과의 관계에서 자기은폐는 조절효과를 나타냈다. 넷째, 사회적 낙인, 자기 낙인, 전문적 도움추구 태도 간 관계에서 자기은폐는 조절된 매개효과를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 대학생이 인식하는 사회적 낙인을 파악하고, 사회적 낙인이 자기 낙인이 되는 과정을 살펴볼 필요가 있으며, 자기은폐 수준을 낮추는 것이 중요함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구결과에 근거하여 시사점 및 제언을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to confirm the relationship between social stigma, self-stigma, self-concealment, and attitude towards seeking professional help in college students. To this end, stigma, self-concealment, and attitude towards seeking professional help were measured in 291 college students and analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and Macro PROCESS. As a result of the study, first, the correlations between social stigma, self-stigma, self-concealment, and attitude towards seeking professional help were all significant. Second, it was found that self-stigma completely mediated the relationship between social stigma and attitude towards seeking professional help. Third, in the relationship between social stigma and self-stigma, self-concealment showed a moderating effect. Fourth, in the relationship between social stigma, self-stigma, and attitude towards seeking professional help, self-concealment showed a controlled mediating effect. Based on these results, the relationship between each variable was verified and a practical intervention plan was suggested. Based on the results of this study, implications and suggestions were presented.
