대학입학에서 준비한 전형유형과 활용한 전형유형, 대학진학결과의 관계 분석

Analysis of the Relationship between the Prepared College Admission Type, the Utilized College Admission Type, and College Entrance Results

본 연구에서는 대입전형을 학생부종합전형과 학생부교과전형, 정시전형으로 구분하고, 고교 재학 중 준비한 전형과 대입에서 실제 활용한 전형을 구분하여 대학준비과정과 대학입학성과의 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한국교육종단연구2013 8~9차년도 자료를 활용하여 대입전형유형의 선택요인, 준비한 전형과 실제 활용한 전형의 관계, 그리고 전형유형별 대학진학결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 성별, 가정배경, 내신, 고교특성에 따라 준비하는 대입전형이 달랐다. 둘째, 학생부교과나 정시 준비자는 대부분 해당 전형을 활용하지만, 학생부종합 준비자는 다른 전형으로 입학하는 비율도 높았다. 셋째, 지방사립대 기준 수도권대 진학확률을 보면, 학생부종합, 정시, 학생부교과의 순으로 높았지만, 내신과 수능 등을 고려하면 학생부종합과 정시 간에 차이가 없었다. 지방사립대 대비 지방국공립대 진학확률은 전형간 차이가 없었다. 다음으로 실제 활용한 대입전형에 따른 분석에서도 수도권대 진학확률에 대한 결과는 비슷하게 나타났으나, 실제 활용한 대입전형별 지방국공립대 진학확률은 다소 차이가 존재하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 수험생들의 진학지도를 좀 더 세분화할 필요가 있으며, 특히 학생부종합전형의 경우 학생부교과나 정시전형도 함께 준비하도록 할 것을 제안하였다.

In this study, the college admissions type(AT) was classified into including the student recordᐨcurricula admission system(CURI), the comprehensive student card adminission system (COMP), and the regular admissions system(RA) and the relationship between the college preparation type and college admission performance was analyzed by distinguishing between AT prepared during high school and AT actually used in college admission. For this, using data from the 8th and 9th years of the Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2013, we analyzed. First, AT was different depending on gender, family background, academic records, and high school characteristics. Second, most CURI and RA students used the corresponding admission process, but high rates of COMP students used other admissions methods. Third, the probability of entering metropolitan universities(MU), compared to local private universities (LPR), was higher in the order of COMP, RA, and CURI but when considering SAT and college entrance exams(EX), there was no difference between COMP and RA. There was no difference in the probability of entering a local public university(LPU) compared to LPR between ATs. The results on the probability of entering MU were similar in the analysis with AT actually used, but there was some difference in the probability of entering LPU by AT actually used. Based on these results, it is necessary to further subdivide the guidance for students taking admissions, and in particular, in the case of COMP, it was suggested that CURI and RA be prepared as well.
