본 논문은 인간과 인공지능(AI) 간의 감정적 소통 가능성과 공존의 문제를 문학적, 기술적, 신경과학적, 진화론적 관점에서 분석한다. 필립 K. 딕의 『안드로이드는 전기양의 꿈을 꾸는가?』 및 현대 과학기술을 통해 AI의 감정 표현과 인간과의 관계 변화를 고찰하며, AI가 감정을 모방하고 인식하는 기술적 가능성을 탐구한다. 신경과학적 연구를 통해 감정의 생물학적 기원을 검토하고, 진화적 관점에서 감정이 지능 및 생존과 어떻게 연결되는지를 분석한다. 또한, 포스트휴머니즘과 신유물론의 논의를 바탕으로, 감정을 지닌 AI가 등장할 경우 인간과 AI 간의 윤리적·법적 경계가 어떻게 재구성될 것인지에 대한 문제를 제기한다. 본 연구는 AI의 감정적 상호작용이 인간 사회에 미칠 영향을 다각도로 조망하며, 향후 연구에서 필요한 윤리적·사회적 논의를 위한 기초적 틀을 제공하고자 한다.

This paper examines the possibility of emotional communication and coexistence between humans and artificial intelligence (AI) from literary, technological, neuroscientific, and evolutionary perspectives. By analyzing Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and advancements in contemporary AI technologies, this study explores how AI expresses emotions and how its relationship with humans is evolving. The paper investigates the biological origins of emotions through neuroscientific research and examines how emotions are connected to intelligence and survival from an evolutionary standpoint. Furthermore, drawing on posthumanism and new materialism, the study raises ethical and legal questions regarding the redefinition of boundaries between humans and AI if AI were to acquire emotional capabilities. This research provides a multidimensional perspective on the impact of AI’s emotional interactions on human society and offers a foundational framework for future ethical and social discussions.
