An Analysis of the Status of After-School Activities according to China's 'Dual Reduction' Policy

Therefore, this study aims to analyze the actual condition of after-school activities in schools according to China's twin policy and explore future development directions. Literature research and case analysis were used as research methods, and as a result of the study, in order to revitalize after-school activities in China, it was suggested that it is necessary to diversify the contents of after-school activities, strengthen the professionalism of manpower, establish a stable financial support, establish a systematic management and evaluation system, and expand the network with external resources. As a result, China's 'two-way sentiment policy' in the future will be able to maximize the effect of reducing the burden of parents' private education expenses and promoting the overall development of students.

중국의 '쌍감(双減)' 정책은 의무 교육 기간에 재학 중인 학생들의 숙제 부담과 사교육비 부담을 완화하기 위해 추진되었다. 중국의 방과 후 활동은 기존에는 학교 밖에서 이루어졌으나, 방과후 활동을 학교 내로 도입하게 된 중요한 정책으로서, 2021년 정책 추진으로 학부모의 사교육비 부담을 줄이고 학교교육의 질을 향상시키고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 중국의 쌍감 정책에 따른 학교 내 방과 후 활동 실태를 분석하고 향후 발전 방향을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌 연구와 사례 분석법을 활용하였으며, 연구 내용은 중국 방과 후 활동 실태 분석과 2개 학교의 운영 사례를 분석하여 발전 방안을 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 중국의 방과 후 활동이 활성화되기 위해서는 방과후 활동의 내용 다양화, 인력의 전문성 강화, 안정적인 재정 지원, 체계적인 관리 및 평가 시스템 구축, 그리고 외부 자원과의 네트워크 확장이 필요함을 제언하였다. 이로서 향후 중국의 ‘쌍감정책’은 학부모의 사교육비 부담 경감과 학생들의 전인적 발전을 도모하는 효과를 극대화 할 수 있을 것이다.
