학교차원의 긍정적 행동중재에 대한 특수교사 및 행동중재전문가의 경험과 인식: 근거이론 연구

Experiences and Perceptions of Special Education Teachers and Behavior Specialists on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports in Special Schools: A Grounded Theory Approach

이 연구의 목적은 특수교사와 행동중재 전문가의 학교 차원의 긍정적 행동중재 경험을 심층 분석하여, 성공적인 학교 차원의 행동중재 실행의 충실도를 높이고 지속 가능한 실행 전략을 제시하는 것이다. 연구는 특수학교 교사와 행동중재 전문가 10명을 대상으로 포커스그룹 면담을 통해 긍정적 행동중재 과정에 대한 현장 경험과 인식을 수집하였다. 이러한 면담 자료는 근거이론에 따라 체계적인 분석 과정을 통해 귀납적으로 이론을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 면담 참여자들은 학교 차원의 긍정적 행동중재 시스템이 비효율적으로 운영되고 있음을 중심현상으로 파악하였고, 이는 구조적 미비와 구성원의 행동중재에 대한 이해 부족 때문임을 밝혔다. 이를 개선하기 위해 실효성 있는 포괄적 행동중재 지원체계를 마련하고, 실행전략으로 실제적인 행동중재 실행 방안을 제시하여 학교 구성원의 행동중재에 대한 이해를 높이고 협력적 학교 분위기를 조성해야 함을 제안하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로, 일관성 있고 연속성 있는 행동중재를 위한 다양한 방안에 대해 논의하고 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

This study aimed to conduct an in-depth analysis of the experiences of special education teachers and behavioral intervention specialists regarding school-wide positive behavioral interventions, with the goal of enhancing the fidelity of successful school-wide behavioral intervention implementation and proposing sustainable implementation strategies. The study collected data on field experiences and perceptions of the intervention process through focus group interviews with 10 special school teachers and behavioral intervention specialists. These interview data were analyzed systematically using grounded theory to derive theoretical insights inductively. The results revealed that school-wide positive behavioral intervention systems were inefficiently operated due to structural deficiencies and a lack of understanding among staff members. To improve this, we propose establishing an effective comprehensive behavioral intervention support system and presenting practical intervention strategies to enhance staff understanding and foster a collaborative school environment. Our findings suggest that consistent and continuous behavioral interventions require such strategies, and we discuss directions for future research.
