Elementary School Physical Education Curriculum Operation Plan according to the Revised 2022 Curriculum

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 저학년 체육교과 운영 방안을 탐색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서 자료는 문헌자료와 심층 인터뷰를 활용하여 수집하였고, 귀납적 범주분석을 활용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 신체활동의 이해는 신체활동의 역할과 외국의 사례, 초등 1∼2학년 통합 교육과정에서 체육교육의 실태와 문제점, 초등 저학년 체육 관련 명칭과 교육과정의 체계 등으로 기술하였다. 둘째, 초등 저학년 신체활동 관련 통합교과 운영 방안은 신체활동의 내용 구성, 교수자의 수업지도 역량이 범주화되었다. 이 연구는 초등 저학년 신체활동 관련 통합교과의 명칭과 내용의 개발 및 신체활동 관련 통합 교과의 수업 운영과 환경 조성 방안에 주목하였다. 초등 저학년 체육은 신체활동을 체계적으로 가르쳐서 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 문화를 형성하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

This study explored the operation plan for physical education classes for lower elementary school students according to the revised 2022 curriculum. Data were collected using previous literature and in-depth interviews, and inductive category analysis was applied. The results revealed that the revised 2022 curriculum has been largely discussed in terms of the role of physical activity, foreign cases, the current status and problems of physical education in the integrated curriculum for first- and second-grade elementary school students, terms related to physical education in lower grades of elementary school, and the curriculum system as a whole. The integrated curriculum operation plan for elementary school physical education was categorized into the contents of educational activities and staff teaching capacity. This study focused on developing the terminology and content of integrated physical activity-related subjects for elemen tary school students, improving perspectives on operating classes, and creating an environment for integrating physical activities with other subjects. Physical education in early elementary school will help create a culture in which students can enjoy sports in their daily lives through the systematically teaching of physical activity.
