중국 애니메이션 스토리텔링의 아동 재현과 특성 ―〈시양양과 후이타이랑의 달팽이 원기충전〉을 중심으로

Representation and Characteristics of Children in Chinese Animation Storytelling

이 연구는 <시양양과 후이타이랑의 달팽이 원기충전>을 통해 중국 애니메이션의 아동 재현과 스토리텔링 특성을 분석했다. 중국의 아동은 역사적으로 미완의 인간이자 계승자, 독립적 주체, 애국주의적 국민으로 인식되어왔다. 중국 애니메이션은 이러한 인식을 반영하여 시대별로 민족문화 계승자, 이데올로기 전파 대상, 총체적 중국인으로서의 아동을 재현했다. 더불어 산업정책과 아동에 대한 규정으로 그 양상이 달람짐을 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 중국 애니메이션은2009년을 기점으로 탈권선징악적 주제의식과 확장된 세계관을 바탕으로, 아동을 전통가치 계승의 동반자, 갈등의 중재자, 미래 과학인재로 재현했다. 이는 현대 중국 사회가 지향하는 이상적 아동상을 제시하는 중요한 전환점이 됨을 밝힐수 있었다.

This study analyzes the representation of children and storytelling characteristics in Chinese animation through "Xǐ yáng yáng yǔ huī tài láng zhī niú qì chōng tiān" Historically, Chinese children have been perceived as incomplete humans, successors, independent subjects, and patriotic citizens. Chinese animation has reflected these perceptions by representing children in different eras as inheritors of national culture, targets of ideological propagation, and holistic Chinese individuals. Furthermore, the study confirmed that these representations varied according to industrial policies and regulations regarding children. Analysis revealed that since 2009, Chinese animation has moved beyond simple moral dichotomies, adopting expanded worldviews and depicting children as companions in inheriting traditional values, mediators of conflict, and future scientific talent. This marked a significant turning point in presenting the ideal image of children that modern Chinese society aspires to.
