Q모집단 구성을 위한 보육교사의 보육실습경험에 관한 인식연구: Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 기반으로

The Perception of Childcare Teachers' Childcare Practice Experience for the Composition of the Q Population: Giorgi's Phenomenological Research Method

본 연구는 Q방법론을 적용하여 Q모집단을 구성하기 위한 기초연구로서 보육교사의 관점에서의 보육실습경험에 대한 주관적이고 개별적인 인식을 파악하여 보육실습체계 구축을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고, 궁극적으로 예비보육교사가 이수하는 보육실습의 질을 향상시키는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 8명의 어린이집 보육교사를 대상으로 FGI를 실시하였고 인터뷰 내용을 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 기반으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 보육교사들이 경험한 보육실습의 본질적 구 조를 4개의 본질적 주제, 14개의 소주제, 23개의 의미단위로 도출하였으며 보육교사의 보육실습 경험에 관한 인식의 본질적 주제는 ‘보육직무역량 향상’에 도움이 되는 보육실습경험, ‘ 현장경험의 중요성’을 깨달은 보육실습경험, ‘보육실습지도교사의 자질과 역량’의 중요성을 알게 된 보육실습경험, ‘보육교사의 자질과 책임감’이 함양된 보육실습경험‘ 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과가 후속연구인 Q방법론을 활용한 보육실습에 관한 주관성 연구에서 Q모집단의 구성을 위한 기초자료로 활용되고, 궁극적으로 보육실무역량을 향상할 수 있는 바람직한 보육실습 체계 및 보육실습 내용이 마련되기를 기대한다.

This study serves as foundational research to establish a Q sample by applying Q methodology, focusing on the subjective and individual perceptions of childcare teachers regarding their childcare practice experiences. The goal is to utilize this research as a basis for building a childcare practice system, thereby enhancing the quality of practice undertaken by prospective childcare teachers. To achieve this, focus group interviews (FGI) were conducted with eight childcare teachers, and the interview content was analyzed based on Giorgi's phenomenological research method. The findings reveal the essential structure of the childcare teachers' practice experiences, which can be categorized into four essential themes, fourteen sub-themes, and twenty-three meaning units. The essential themes regarding childcare teachers' perceptions of their practice experiences include experiences that contribute to the enhancement of childcare job competencies, the realization of the importance of practical experience, the recognition of the qualities and competencies of practice supervisors, and the development of qualities and responsibilities in childcare teachers. It is anticipated that the results of this study will serve as foundational data for subsequent research on the subjectivity of childcare practice using Q methodology, ultimately leading to the establishment of an effective childcare practice system and content that enhances practical competencies in childcare.
