세계화 시대의 틈의 그리스도론 - 힉과 지젝의 그리스도 이해를 중심으로 -

Christology of Between in the Age of Globalization : Focusing on Hick and Žižek’s understanding of Christ

본 연구의 일차적인 목적은 세계화가 보여주는 동일화의 문제를 종교적인 측면에서 고찰하는 데 있다. 본 소고에서는 동일화의 문제를 ‘실재 중심적 종교다원주의’(Realocentric Religious Pluralism) 신학자들과의 연관성 속에서 파악하고자 함으로써, 이들의 종교이해가 종교마다 지니고 있는 특이성(singularity)을 약화시키며, 종교 간 동일화를 지향하고 있다는 점을 지적한다. 그 결과 모든 종교와 종교는 차이를 갖지 못한 채 초월적인 종교형태를 취하게 됨으로 현실문제에 대한 참여성이 약화 된 기독교가 될 수 있음을 고찰한다. 이에 따른 대안으로써 세계화가 보여주는 동일화의 문제를 두 극단의 사이에서 극복해보려는 시도인 글로컬라이제이션을 슬라보예 지젝(Slavoj Žižek)이 제기한 유물론적 신학(Materialistic Theology)에 나타난 예수 이해를 중심으로 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 통해 지젝이 보여준 예수 이해를 ‘틈의 그리스도론’이라고 정의하고, 이를 통해 세계화 시대에 기독교는 초월적인 것이 아닌 현실문제에 참여적인 기독교를 지향해야 할 것을 제안하고자 한다.

The primary objective of this study is to investigate the issues of identification in globalization in religious aspects. To this end, this study intends to understand identification in connection with Realocentric Religious Pluralism theologians. This study is pointing out that it is undermining singularity of every religion and reaching forward to the identification among religions. This study will investigate that participation in actual issues can result in weakened Christianity as every religion assumes transcendent form of religion without having the ‘between.’ Glocalization, an attempt to overcome the issue of identification in globalization, will be investigated as an alternative around images of Jesus appeared in Materialistic Theology stated by Slavoj Žižek. The writer named images of Jesus that Žižek has demonstrated as ‘christology of between,’ and intends to propose for christianity to progress forward to the real issues as a participatory christianity instead of transcendent form of religion in the age of globalization according to the Christian God who was one-of-us through the theological reconstruction.
