AI 리터러시와 윤리 인식이 초･중등 교사의 AI 학습 행동 의도에 미치는 영향

The Effects of AI Literacy and Ethical Awareness on K-12 Teachers' AI Learning Behavioral Intentions

연구목적: 본 연구는 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 활용하여 초･중등 교사의 AI 리터러시와 윤리 인식이 AI 학습 행동 의도에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히, AI 리터러시와 윤리 인식이 교사의 사회적 선을 위한 AI 활용에 대한 인식, 자기 효능감, 그리고 궁극적으로 AI 학습 행동 의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 AI 교사 연수 프로그램에 참여한 초･중등 교사 318명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. AI 리터러시와 윤리 인식이 AI 학습 행동 의도에 미치는 직･간접적인 영향을 분석하기 위해 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 적용하였다. 연구 모형의 검증을 위해 확인적 요인 분석(CFA)과 경로 분석을 활용하여 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구결과: 연구 결과, AI 리터러시는 AI 자기 효능감과 윤리 인식에 유의미한 직접적 영향을 미쳤으며, 윤리 인식은 교사의 사회적 선을 위한 AI 활용 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, AI 자기 효능감과 사회적 선을 위한 AI 활용 인식은 AI 학습 행동 의도의 강력한 예측 변인으로 확인되었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 교사의 AI 교육 참여를 촉진하는 데 있어 AI 리터러시와 윤리 인식의 중요성을 강조한다. AI 리터러시를 강화하면 AI 관련 교수 활동에 대한 교사의 자신감을 높일 뿐만 아니라, AI 활용에 대한 윤리적 고려 또한 강화될 수 있음을 시사한다.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the impact of AI literacy and ethical awareness on K-12 teachers' AI learning behavioral intentions using a structural equation modeling approach. Specifically, it explored how AI literacy and ethical awareness influence teachers’ perceptions of AI for social good, self-efficacy, and ultimately, their intention to engage in AI learning. Method: A survey was conducted with 318 K-12 teachers who participated in an AI teacher training program. The study employed SEM to examine the direct and indirect effects of AI literacy and ethical awareness on AI learning behavioral intentions. Data were analyzed using CFA and path analysis to validate the proposed model. Results: The findings revealed that AI literacy had a significant direct effect on AI self-efficacy and ethical awareness, while ethical awareness positively influenced teachers’ perception of AI for social good. Both AI self-efficacy and the perception of AI for social good were found to be strong predictors of AI learning behavioral intentions. Conclusion: The study underscores the importance of AI literacy and ethical awareness in fostering teachers' willingness to engage with AI education. Enhancing AI literacy not only improves teachers' confidence in AI-related teaching but also strengthens their ethical considerations in AI use.
