‘가정과 교재 연구 및 지도법’ 수업이 예비가정교사의 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도와 실행도 인식에 미치는 영향

The Impact of the ‘Home Economics Teaching Materials and Instructional Methods’ Course on Pre-Service Home Economics Teachers' Perceptions of the Importance and Performance of Good Teaching

본 연구는 ‘가정과 교재 연구 및 지도법’ 수업이 예비가정교사의 좋은 수업에 대한 중요도 및 실행도 인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 수업의 효과성을 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상은 해당 수업을 이수한 예비가정교사이며, 사전⋅사후 설문을 바탕으로 교육내용, 교수방법, 학습환경과 분위기, 교육평가의 네 가지 영역에서 Wilcoxon 부호순위 검정 및 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 모든 교육 요소에서 실행도가 증가하였으며, 특히 ‘교수 방법’과 ‘학습 환경과 분위기’에서 가장 큰 향상이 나타났다. 구체적으로, 예비교사들은 ‘실생활과 관련된 내용을 수업에 반영’, ‘핵심 내용을 체계적으로 조직하고 설명’, ‘다양한 교수법을 활용’, ‘민주적이고 포용적인 학습 환경을 조성’, ‘학생의 직접적인 참여와 협력 및 상호작용을 촉진’, ‘단순한 암기가 아닌 깊이 있는 지식 이해와 적용을 평가’하는 실행 능력이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 또한, IPA 분석 결과, 모든 요소에서 중요도와 실행도의 차이가 감소하였으며, 모든 항목이 1사분면으로 이동한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 체계적으로 설계된 ‘가교재’ 수업이 예비가정교사의 교수 실행 역량을 신장시키고, 좋은 수업을 구현하는 데 있어 효과적인 교육 과정임을 시사한다.

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Home Economics Teaching Materials and Instructional Methods course on pre-service home economics teachers’ perceptions of the importance and performance of good teaching, thereby evaluating the effectiveness of the course. The participants were pre-service home economics teachers who completed the course, and preand post-course surveys were conducted across four key areas: instructional content, teaching methods, learning environment and atmosphere, and assessment. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA). The results showed an overall increase in performance across all educational components, with the most significant improvements observed in “teaching methods” and “learning environment and atmosphere.” Specifically, pre-service teachers demonstrated significant growth in their ability to: incorporate real-life content into lessons, organize and explain core content effectively, use diverse instructional strategies, create a democratic and inclusive learning environment, promote student participation, collaboration, and interaction, and assess deep understanding and application rather than rote memorization. Additionally, the IPA results indicated a reduction in the gap between perceived importance and performance, with all components shifting to the first quadrant. These findings suggest that the systematically designed course effectively enhances pre-service home economics teachers’ instructional competencies and contributes to their ability to implement high-quality teaching practices.
