Objective: This study aims to examine whether mindfulness moderates the relationship between early childhood teachers' difficulties in communicating with parents and their intention to leave the profession. Methods: A survey was administered to 206 early childhood teachers. Correlation analysis was used to examine the relationships among the variables, and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to assess whether mindfulness moderates the relationship between teachers' communication difficulties with parents and their turnover intention. Results: The findings revealed significant correlations among early childhood teachers' communication difficulties with parents, turnover intention, and mindfulness. Furthermore, mindfulness was found to act as a protective buffer in the relationship between communication difficulties with parents and turnover intention. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest that implementing mindfulness-based training for early childhood teachers may help reduce their turnover intention. Additionally, the study provides valuable foundational data for the development of educational programs aimed at enhancing both communication skills and mindfulness among early childhood educators.
