인지행동 집단상담 프로그램이 학업중단 위험성이 높은 중학생의 학교적응, 대인관계, 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 효과

Effects of Cognitive Behavioral Group Counseling Program on School Adaptation, Interpersonal Relationships, and Psychological Well-being of Adolescents at Risk of Interruption

본 연구는 학업중단 위험성이 높은 중학생을 대상으로 인지행동 집단상담 프로그램이 학교적응, 대인관계, 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 대상은 G광역시 소재 중학생 262명 중 학생 정서·행동특성검사 결과 학업중단 위험성이 높은 위기군으로 선정된 69명 중 프로그램 참가를 희망한 학생 22명을 실험집단(n = 11)과 대기-통제집단(n = 11)으로 무작위 배치하였다. 인지행동 집단상담은 총 10회기로 진행되었으며 중학생의 학교적응검사와 대인관계척도 및 심리적 안녕감 척도를 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 학교적응 점수가 통제집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었고, 하위요인에서도 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다. 둘째, 실험집단의 대인관계 점수가 통제집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 하위요인에서도 유의하게 향상되었다. 셋째, 실험집단의 심리적 안녕감 점수 역시 통제집단에 비해 유의미하게 증가하였고, 하위요인에서도 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다. 본 연구는 인지행동 집단상담이 학업중단 위험성이 높은 중학생의 학교적응과 심리적 안정을 돕는 개입 프로그램으로서 의의가 있다. 본 연구에 대한 의의와 연구의 한계점 및 제안을 제시하였다.

This study investigated the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral group counseling program in enhancing school adjustment, interpersonal relationships, and psychological well-being among adolescents at risk of school dropout. Participants were 22 middle school students from G Metropolitan City, selected from 69 students identified as at-risk based on an emotional and behavioral screening test. They were randomly assigned to either an experimental group (n = 11) or a waitlist control group (n = 11). The intervention program consisted of 10 sessions, and school adjustment, interpersonal relationships, and psychological well-being were measured using validated scales for Korean adolescents. Results showed that the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in school adjustment, interpersonal relationships, and psychological well-being compared to the control group, with positive changes observed across sub-factors. These findings suggest that cognitive-behavioral group counseling is an effective intervention for supporting school adaptation and psychological stability in at-risk adolescents.
