The purpose of this study is to verify whether physical contact activities during the daily routine of daycare centers for infants have the effect of enhancing children's peer ability and conflict resolution ability. The subjects of this study were 40 children aged 4 years old at daycare centers in U Metropolitan City, tests were conducted by dividing each of them into an group of 20 children. Physical contact activities were conducted during work and operation three times a week for six weeks in the experimental group, and daily tasks based on the Nuri process were applied to the control group without experimental treatment. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the experimental group who experienced physical contact activity during work and operation of the daycare center improved their peer ability to a significant level compared to the control group. Second, the experimental group who experienced physical contact activity during work and operation of the daycare center improved their conflict resolution ability to a significant level compared to the control group. Third, positive changes were observed in teachers and infants who experienced physical contact activity during work and operation of the daycare center. These findings confirmed the importance of infant physical contact and are significant in that they developed and provided physical contact activities that can be used continuously and in the long term during the day and operation of daycare centers.
