장애인 복지기관 종사자가 인식하는 성인 발달장애인의 도전적 행동 중재 역량에 대한 우선순위 분석

Priority Analysis of Intervention Competencies for Challenging Behaviors in Adults with Developmental Disabilities as Perceived by Disability Welfare Institution Staff

본 연구는 장애인 복지기관 종사자들을 대상으로 도전적 행동 중재 역량에 대한 인식을 조사하고, 중요도와 실행도를 분석하여 우선순위를 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 토대로 재구조화된 설문지를 개발하였고, 설문조사를 성인 발달장애인 지원 복지기관 종사자 92명에게 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 IPA 분석, Borich 요구도 산출 및 LF 모델 분석을 통해 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 장애인 복지관 종사자가 인식하는 성인 발달장애인의 도전적 행동 중재 역량에 대한 중요도와 실행도에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, LF 모델 분석 결과, 우선순위가 높은 8개의 요구역량이 도출되었으며, 주요 역량은 ‘도전적 행동 예방과 환경 조성’, ‘실행력 강화’, ‘실행력 강화를 위한 협력’ 영역에 집중되었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 시사점이 제시되었고, 연구의 제한점과 함께 추후 연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다. 본 연구는 복지기관의 도전적 행동 중재 역량 향상과 정책적 지원이 상호 보완적으로 작용해야 한다는 점을 강조하며, 성인 발달장애인 지원을 위한 효율적이고 지속 가능한 중재 체계 구축을 위한 기초 자료로서 중요한 의의를 갖는다.

This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of welfare institution staff regarding the intervention competencies for challenging behaviors in adults with developmental disabilities, analyze the importance and implementation levels, and derive priorities. For this purpose, a questionnaire was developed based on previous research and administered to 92 staff members of welfare institutions supporting adults with developmental disabilities. The collected data was analyzed using IPA analysis, Borich’s needs assessment, and LF model analysis. The results were as follows; First, there was a significant difference between the perceived importance and implementation levels of intervention competencies for challenging behaviors in adults with developmental disabilities. Secondly, LF model analysis identified eight priority competencies, with key areas focusing on “prevention of challenging behaviors and environmental arrangement,” “enhancement of implementation skills,” and “collaboration for enhancing implementation skills.” Based on the findings, implications were discussed, along with the limitations of the study and suggestions for future research. This study emphasized the complementary roles of enhancing intervention competencies in welfare institutions and policy support, highlighting its significance as a foundational resource for establishing an efficient and sustainable intervention system for supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
