초등학교 가창 제재곡 연구: 월별 학교 행사를 반영하여

A Study on the Development of Vocal Repertoire for Elementary School Music Education Integrating Monthly School Events

본 연구는 초등학교 학생들의 발달 단계와 학교 생활 환경을 고려한 가창 제재곡 목록을 마련하여, 가창 레퍼토리를 확장하고, 나아가 학생들의 가창 활동을 활성화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 문헌 연구과 교과서 분석 및 초등학교 음악 수업 실태를 파악하였다. 또한 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정을 반영한 3~4학년 음악 교과서 7종 14권과 2015 개정 음악과 교육과정을 반영한 초등학교 5~6학년 음악 교과서 8종 16권을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 초등학교에서 공통적으로 이루어지는 월별 행사를 분석하여 이를 반영한 가창 제재곡을 선정함으로써 음악 교육과 실생활의 연계성을 높였다. 둘째, 초등학교 3~6학년 학생들의 리듬, 가락, 음역, 조성, 형식, 가사 등의 음악적 발달 특징을 고려하여 학년군별 가창 제재곡 선정 기준을 마련하고, 이를 반영한 곡들을 제시하였다. 셋째, 기존 교과서 및 문헌 연구를 통해 학교 행사와 연계된 가창 제재곡이 부족함을 확인하고, 이를 보완하기 위해 초등학교 교육과정의 시간적 흐름에 맞춘 다양한 주제의 제재곡을 선정하였다. 본 연구는 초등학교 가창 교육에서 학생들의 음악적 경험을 보다 풍부하게 하고, 실생활과 연계된 음악 활동을 활성화하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

The study was to develop a selection of vocal repertoire that reflects the developmental stages and school events of elementary school students, thereby expanding their singing repertoire and promoting active participation in vocal activities. A literature review and textbook analysis were conducted, along with an examination of the current state of elementary school music education. In addition, a comparative analysis was performed on seven types of third- and fourth-grade music textbooks reflecting the 2022 revised music curriculum and eight types of fifth- and sixth-grade music textbooks reflecting the 2015 revised music curriculum. The findings of this study are as follows. First, a selection of vocal pieces was made by analyzing commonly observed monthly school events, thereby strengthening the connection between music education and real-life experiences. Second, criteria for selecting vocal repertoire were established based on the musical characteristics of elementary school students in grades three to six, considering rhythm, melody, vocal range, tonality, form, and lyrics, and pieces reflecting these criteria were suggested. Third, an analysis of existing textbooks and prior research revealed a lack of vocal pieces related to school events; thus, to address this gap, a diverse selection of vocal repertoire was proposed in alignment with the chronological structure of the elementary school curriculum. This study is expected to contribute to enriching students' musical experiences in elementary school vocal education and promoting music activities that are more meaningfully connected to real-life contexts.
