대학 초임교수의 성찰적 글쓰기 경험에 관한 자전적 내러티브 탐구

Autobiographical Narrative Inquiry into the Reflective Writing Experience of a Novice Professor

본 연구는 대학 초임교수의 성찰적 글쓰기 경험에 관한 자전적 내러티브 탐구이다. 대학 초임교수의 성찰적 글쓰기 경험이 자신의 이해와 삶에 어떤 변화를 가져왔는지 탐구하고자 한다. 현장 텍스트로 성찰적 글쓰기를 작성하였고, 자료의 해석은 3차원적 탐구 지점인 시간성(temporality), 사회성(sociality), 장소(place)를 고려하였다. Saint Exupéry의 소설 『어린 왕자』를 메타포로 사용하였고, 대학 초임교수의 성찰적 글쓰기 경험은 ‘작별’, ‘시작’, ‘외줄 타기’, ‘몸부림’, ‘가만히’라는 주제로 나타났다. 주제별 모티브로는 ‘어린 왕자와 장미’, ‘별 여행’, ‘사막’, ‘사막의 우물’, ‘한 모금의 물’로 제시하였다. 내러티브 탐구자로서 개인적 정당성, 실제적 정당성, 사회적 정당성에 따라 본 연구의 정당성을 제시하며 내러티브 탐구를 마쳤다. 본 연구가 독자에게 간접 경험의 기회가 되고, 초임교수를 위한 기초자료가 되기를 기대한다.

This study explores the autobiographical narrative inquiry into the reflective writing experiences of a novice professor. It seeks to understand the changes that reflective writing has brought to the professor’s comprehension and life. Reflective writing was composed as field texts, and the interpretation of these texts considered three-dimensional inquiry points—temporality, sociality, and place. Using motifs from Saint Exupéry’s novel The Little Prince as a metaphor, the experiences of reflective writing by the novice professor surfaced themes of “farewell,” “beginning,” “tightrope walking,” “struggling,” and “quietness.” These themes are respectively depicted through motifs: “The Little Prince and the Rose,” “Star Travel,” “The Desert,” “The Desert’s Well,” and “A Sip of Water.” The legitimacy of this research is established based on personal, practical, and social justifications. This study aims to provide indirect experiences for readers and foundational data for novice professors.
