결혼이주 여성노인의 노화경험에 관한 연구

The Lived Experience of Aging Among Elderly Married Migrant Women

본 연구는 결혼이주여성의 한국사회 정착 주기 장기화에 따라 증가하고 있는 결혼이주 여성노인의 노화경험을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 질적연구방법 중 사례연구방법을 활용하였으며, 한국에 거주한 지 20년이 넘은 결혼이주여성 중 55세 이상의 여성 4명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 면담을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 사례 내 분석결과는 연구참여자들은‘불행한 과거를 보상해 줄 노년, 안개 속 희망 품기’,‘진짜 가족이 있는 모국에서의 노후를 기대하며 기다리기’,‘감사로 채운 과거와 현재에서 설레이는 미래 기다리기’,‘내 힘으로 성실하게 나의 진짜 삶 준비하기’로 나타났다. 각 사례를 통합하여 분석한 사례 간 분석에서는‘소망과 달랐던 결혼생활’,‘나의 무기, 나의 일’,‘나의 뿌리는 자녀들, 자녀들의 뿌리는 한국’,‘망설이며, 만족하며, 준비하는 나의 노년’으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 결혼이주 여성노인의 노화과정에서의 삶의 질 제고를 위해 논의 및 제언하였다.

This study was conducted to examine the aging experience of elderly marriage migrant women, which is increasing as the settlement cycle of marriage migrant women in Korean society. For this purpose, a case study method was used among qualitative research methods, and four women aged 55 or older were selected as participants in the study among marriage migrant women who lived in Korea for more than 20 years. As a result of the study, the results of the analysis in the case showed that the study participants were 'old age to compensate for the unfortunate past', 'waiting and hoping for old age in my home country with real families', 'waiting for a future excited by the past and present filled with gratitude','preparing for my real life faithfully with my own power'. In the analysis between cases analyzed by integrating each case, it was found that 'a marriage that was different from the desire', 'my weapon, my work', 'my children, my children's roots are Korea', 'my old age that is hesitating, satisfied, and prepared'. Based on this, discussions and suggestions were made to improve the quality of life in the aging process of elderly married migrant women.
