본 연구는 초등교사가 참가하는 무용경연의 무용 유형 및 심사 내용을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 초등교사라는 참가자의 특성을 고려한 무용 유형과 교육적 가치를 고려한 심사 내용을 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구는 사례 연구로 문헌 연구와 함께 초등교사를 양성하고 무용경연을 개최하는 A, B, C 교육대학교의 무용경연 요강, 무용경연 신청서 등의 자료를 수집하고 분석하였으며, A 교육대학교의 초등교사 무용경연에 위촉된 심사위원 3명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 설문지 조사, 전화 인터뷰 등을 진행하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등교사 무용경연의 무용 유형으로 다양함을 수용한다. 둘째, 초등교사 무용경연의 심사 내용으로 창의성과 표현력, 심미성을 포함한다. 위의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등교사 무용경연에서 체계적인 운영 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 둘째, 초등교사 무용경연에서 교육적 성과의 연계성에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the types of dance and the judging content of dance competitions in which elementary school teachers participate. Through this, this study aims to find out the types of dance that take into account the characteristics of the participants, elementary school teachers, and the judging content that takes into account educational value. This study is a case study, and it collected and analyzed the materials such as the dance competition guidelines and application forms of A, B, and C universities of education that train elementary school teachers and hold dance competitions, along with literature research. This study selected three judges appointed to the elementary school teacher dance competition of A university of education as research participants and conducted questionnaire surveys, telephone interviews, etc. The results are as follows. First, the types of dance in elementary school teacher dance competitions are diverse. Second, the judging content of elementary school teacher dance competitions includes creativity, expressiveness, and aesthetics. Based on the above research results, the suggestions are as follows. First, research on systematic operation methods in elementary school teacher dance competitions is necessary. Second, research on the connection between elementary school teacher dance competitions and educational outcomes is necessary.
