고등교육 수업에서 AI 코스웨어 활용 효과성 측정 연구

A Study on the Effectiveness of AI Courseware Utilization in Higher Education Classes

본 연구는 고등교육 맥락에서 AI 코스웨어의 활용 효과를 체계적으로 검증하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 고등교육에서 AI 코스웨어의 활용 방법을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 9개 대학에서 운영된 16개 정규 교과 수업의 참여자 358명을 대상으로 AI 코스웨어 활용 효과(AI 리터러시, 대학생학습역량, AI 코스웨어 활용 효능감)와 AI 코스웨어 활용에 대한 인식(인지된 학습결과, 수업 참여도, 만족도, 흥미도, 유용성, 흥미도, 유용성)을 살펴보았다. 연구 가설을 검증하기 위해 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 기초 통계분석, 대응표본 t검증, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, AI 코스웨어 활용 수업 참여 이후 AI 리터러시, 대학생학습역량, AI 코스웨어 활용 효능감은 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 또한 인지된 학습 결과, 수업 참여도, 만족도, 흥미도, 유용성에서도 학습자들이 긍정적인 인식을 보였다. 수업 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 수업 참여도가 모든 영역에서 공통적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, AI 코스웨어 활용 경험이 없는 학습자일수록 AI 코스웨어 활용 효능감 변화량이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 AI 코스웨어가 고등교육에서 학습자 맞춤형 지원을 통해 효과적인 교수학습 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 시사하며, 연구 결과에 기반하여 고등교육에서 AI 코스웨어 활용 방안을 제시하였다.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of AI courseware in higher education and to explore practical ways to effectively apply it in instructional settings. To this end, pre- and post-test of 358 students enrolled in 16 courses at nine universities in South Korea assessed chages in AI literacy, learning competency of university students, and efficacy of AI courseware use, alongside perception of learning outcomes, class participation, satisfaction, interest, and usefulness. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests, descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis. Results revealed statistically significant improvements in AI literacy, learning competency, and efficacy. Students also reported high levels for perceived learning outcomes, satisfaction, and usefulness. Among the influencing factors, class participation was consistently found to have a significant positive impact across all variables, and students without prior experience with AI courseware exhibited greater improvements in efficacy. These findings suggest that AI courseware can serve as an effective personalized learning support tool in higher education. Implications for enhancing the instructional use of AI courseware are discussed.
