캐릭터를 통한 입체조형 교육 - 초등 예비교사를 대상으로 -

A Case Study of 3D-Modeling Class Using Characters -For Elementary School Pre-Service Teachers

캐릭터 조형 교육은 학생들이 다양한 감정을 이해하고 표현할 수 있는 능력을 함양하며, 창의적 사고와 자기표현 능력을 강화하는 데 중요하다. 또한, 독창적인 개성을 표출하도록 하고 타인과 효과적으로 소통하는 방법을 습득할 수 있다. 이러한 교육은 개인의 정체성 형성과 사회적 상호작용 능력을 심화하는 데 기여한다. 본 연구는 초등 예비교사를 위한 수업사례로, 캐릭터를 통한 입체조형 수업프로그램의 결과물과 에세이를 정리한 것이다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 교육적 의의를 얻을 수 있었다. 결과물 분석에서는 첫째, 학생들은 다양한 사물과 동물을 캐릭터화하여 창의적 표현 능력을 배양하였다. 둘째, 형태와 색상을 활용하여 감정을 전달하고 캐릭터의 개성을 강조하는 조형 능력을 발전시켰다. 셋째, 동물과 인물의 특성을 고려하여 표현함으로써 다양한 표현 기법을 습득하였다. 넷째, 캐릭터에 스토리와 메시지를 부여하여 감정과 이야기를 효과적으로 전달하는 방법을 이해하게 되었다. 에세이를 통한 분석에서는 첫째, 안전 교육의 중요성을 인식하고, 캐릭터 입체조형 교육에서 도구와 재료의 안전한 사용을 깨달았다. 둘째, 단계별 교육 프로세스를 이해하여 효과적인 작업 능력을 발전시켰다. 셋째, 입체적 사고를 확장하여 창의적 표현 방법을 체득하였다. 넷째, 입체조형 학습이 초등 교육에서 창의성과 자기 주도적 학습을 증진함을 확인했다. 다섯째, 협력과 소통의 중요성을 이해하고 아이디어 공유의 가치를 인식하였다.

Character modeling education is important for students to develop the ability to understand and express various emotions, and to strengthen their creative thinking and self-expression abilities. They can also learn how to express their original personality and communicate effectively with others. This education contributes to the formation of personal identity and the deepening of social interaction abilities. This study is a lesson case for elementary preparatory teachers, and summarizes the results and essays of the character modeling lesson program. As a result, the following educational significance was obtained. In the result analysis, first, students developed creative expression abilities by characterizing various things and animals. In both cases, they developed modeling abilities to convey emotions and highlight the individuality of characters by utilizing shapes and colors. Third, they acquired various expression techniques by considering and expressing the characteristics of animals and people. Fourth, they came to understand how to give characters stories and messages and effectively convey emotions and stories. In the analysis of the essays, first, they recognized the importance of safety education and realized the safe use of tools and materials in character modeling education. Second, they understood the step-by-step education process and developed effective working abilities. Third, they expanded their three-dimensional thinking and acquired creative expression methods. Fourth, they confirmed that three-dimensional modeling learning promotes creativity and self-directed learning in primary education. Five-chan understood the importance of cooperation and communication, and recognized the value of sharing ideas.
