이 연구는 학계 및 문화예술 영역에서 향유를 탐색하고 그 기능을 검토한 다음 이를 근거로 음악교육의 거시적 방향을 모색하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 방법은 내용분석을 사용하여 향유 개념을 규정하고 윤리 및 도덕, 심리학에서 향유를 어떻게 사용하고 있는지 검토한 다음 자료를 종합하였다. 분석 결과, 윤리, 도덕 영역에서는 향유를 직면한 문제 해결의 매개체로 사용하였다. 문화향유에서는 과거 형성된 관습적 도구성의 체험에 문화적 타자성이 있었다. 예술향유에서는 참여의 형식이 변화되어 향유 형태를 새롭게 개발하는 가운데 참여자 메시지가 통합되어 예술적 시민성이 형성되었다. 종합한 결과 첫째, 음악교육은 음악향유의 매개성이 교육적 상황에서 드러날 수 있도록 고민해야 하며, 음악 활동에서 드러나는 사물과 ‘나’의 관계에서 타자성을 학습할 수 있게 도와야 하며, 참여적 활동에서 향유의 가치를 스스로 찾게 해주어야 한다는 결론을 얻었다. 예술가와 학습자의 작품을 향유의 관계에 머무르게 하지 않고 함께 만들고 함께 공연할 수 있는 참여의 넓고 깊은 차원으로 이끌어야 음악교육은 성공할 수 있다.
The purpose of This study is to explore enjoyment and its functions in academic and cultural fields. It then proposes broader directions for music education. The research method used content analysis. This study defined the concept of enjoyment in philosophy, examined its application in morality and psychology, and subsequently synthesized the collected data. The results showed that in the areas of morality, enjoyment was used as a medium to solve problems encountered. In culture enjoyment, cultural otherness emerged from the experience of past conventional instrumentality. In enjoyment art, the form of participation has evolved, and the development of new forms of enjoyment has fostered artistic citizenship. Summary, music education should first consider how the mediation of music enjoyment can be manifested in educational settings, foster an understanding of otherness within the subject-object relationship revealed through musical activities, and enable students to independently discover the value of enjoyment through participatory activities.
