A 24-year and 7-month-old female patient was referred from the department of prosthodontics. She showed a skeletal Class II pattern, lip protrusion, congenital missing of four second premolars, hopeless mandibular left first molar, retained maxillary left primary second molar, large overjet, deep bite, mesial tipping of the first molars, maxillary dental midline deviation to the right side, maxillary sinus pneumatization, and resorption of the condyles. Retained primary molar and hopeless molar were extracted. Maxillary posterior and mandibular anterior microimplants were placed for retraction of the maxillary anterior teeth, intrusion of the mandibular anterior teeth, and mesialization of the mandibular posterior teeth. Only one dental implant was necessary in the mandibular left missing area although the patient had several missing teeth. And she showed a good alignment of dentition and a favorable facial profile after treatment. Therefore, microimplants were very effective to correct the mutilated dentition due to congenital missing teeth.
