This paper presents two orthodontic treatment methods for two young female patients with multiple missing teeth. Two cases exhibited Class II skeletal malocclusion characterized by lip protrusion. In the first case, a mandibular right first molar was missing and three severely decayed molars and three first premolars were extracted and all second molars were replaced by all third molars. This case demonstrates a successful space closure without a need for dental implant placement followed by an improvement of facial profile. In the second case, a maxillary right second premolar was missing and a left first premolar was extracted, then the space was closed with the retraction of the anterior teeth. In the mandible, an impacted mandibular left second premolar and a severely decayed mandibular right first molar were extracted while keeping an impacted mandibular right first premolar in the bone. Three dental implants were placed to restore the residual spaces after retraction of the anterior teeth and protraction of the posterior teeth to improve facial profile. Therefore, a proper treatment plan should be developed considering the pros and cons of the two different approaches to address the multiple missing teeth cases.
