A 7-year and 8-month-old girl presented with skeletal Class III malocclusion with anterior crossbite. She showed the maxillary retrusion and the mandibular protrusion, and maxillary arch constriction with a severe crowding. Rapid palatal expansion and tandem traction bow appliance (TTBA) were applied for expansion and forward traction of the maxilla, and correction of anterior crossbite and crowding. After eruption of all permanent dentition, camouflage treatment was planned following re-diagnostic procedure. According to the result of re-diagnosis, fixed orthodontic treatment was performed with an extraction of the maxillary and mandibular first premolars. The extraction space was closed using closing loops and maxillary dentition was distalized using double helical loops and microimplants. Consequently, facial esthetics and occlusal relationships were improved.
