아동학대에 관한 포괄적 텍스트 고찰과 피해 당사자 목소리: 가정외보호 중심

A comprehensive text review on abused children and the voices of the parties involved: Focusing on children in out-of-home care

본 연구는 학대피해아동에 대한 포괄적 담론 고찰과 당사자의 경험을 심층적으로 탐색하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 학술연구물과 언론보도물을 수집하여 텍스트마이닝 기반의 토픽모델링을 실시하여 주요 주제를 도출하였다. 분석결과, 법적 체계 및 아동보호시스템’, ‘친권에 대한 인식과 분리조치’, ‘학대 후유증과 지원’의 세 가지 주제가, 언론보도물에서는 ‘학대 후유증과 지원’, ‘보호시스템(가정외 배치)’의 두 가지 주제가 도출되었다. 학술연구물에서는 도출된 주제를 바탕으로 ‘보호시스템 진입 전’과 ‘진입 후 초기 경험’, ‘친권(부모)에 대한 인식과 관계’, ‘분리’, ‘학대의 후유증’, ‘지원의 경험’, ‘보호시스템 내에서 삶’, ‘공적돌봄의 평가와 퇴소이후 연결성’으로 총 8개의 초점질문을 구성하였으며 이를 토대로 보호체계에서 아동기를 보낸 성인기 청년을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였다. 인터뷰 분석을 통해 총 18개의 핵심 개념을 도출하였고, 이를 기반으로 학대피해아동의 전 생애적 맥락에서 보호체계 보호체계의 경험을 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 학대피해아동 보호에 대한 실천적⋅정책적 제언을 제시하고, 당사자의 목소리에 근거한 보호체계 개선의 방향을 모색하고자 하였다.

This study aimed to explore the comprehensive discourse on children who have experienced abuse and to examine their lived experiences in depth. To this end, academic studies and news reports were collected and analyzed using topic modeling based on text mining to extract key themes. As a result, three major topics—“legal systems and child protection structures,” “perceptions of parental authority and separation,” and “aftereffects of abuse and support”— were identified in academic research, while two themes—“aftereffects of abuse and support” and “child protection systems”—were found in media coverage. Based on the extracted themes, eight focus areas were constructed: pre-entry into the child protection system, early experiences after entry, perceptions and relationships with parental authority, separation, aftereffects of abuse, experiences of support, life within the protection system, and evaluation of public care and post-exit continuity. In-depth interviews were conducted with young adults who had spent their childhood within the public child protection system following separation from their original families due to abuse. A total of 18 key concepts were derived through interview analysis, allowing for an examination of the experiences of children in protective care across their life course. The findings offer practice- and policy-level recommendations and seek to suggest directions for improving the child protection system, grounded in the voices of the individuals directly affected.
