음악 감상문 작성을 지원하는 생성형 AI 기반 챗봇 프로토타입 개발: 펠트만과 앤더슨의 이론을 중심으로

Developing a Generative AI based chatbot prototype to support the writing of music appreciation: focusing on Feltman and Anderson's theories

본 연구는 음악 감상문 작성을 지원하기 위해 펠트만과 앤더슨의 비평이론을 기반으로 한 생성형 AI 챗봇 프로토타입을 개발하고, 그 교육적 가능성을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 설계·개발 연구 방법을 적용하였으며, 먼저 음악 비평 이론과 인공지능 기반 교육 도구에 관한 선행 문헌을 분석하고, 고등학교 음악 수업 맥락에서 요구분석을 실시하여 챗봇의 질문 규칙과 설계 원리를 도출하였다. 이후 비평 단계에 따른 질문 구조를 설계하고, 생성형 AI를 활용하여 감상문 작성을 단계적으로 유도하는 챗봇 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 완성된 프로토타입은 음악교육 전문가 4인을 대상으로 한 타당화 절차를 통해 그 교육적 타당성과 실용성을 검토받았으며, 추가로 음악교육전공 대학원생 10인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가를 통해 실제 활용 가능성과 학습자 반응을 점검하였다. 그 결과, 챗봇의 설계 원리는 타당성과 유용성에서 긍정적인 평가를 받았으며, 챗봇 구현의 모든 영역에서는 높은 타당성을 확보하였다. 특히 학습자의 자율적 글쓰기와 감상 능력 향상에 효과적인 지원 도구로서의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 음악 감상 교육에 생성형 AI를 활용하는 구체적 실천 모델을 제시하였다는 점에서 이론적·실천적 의의를 가진다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a generative AI chatbot prototype based on Feltman and Anderson’s critical theory to support writing music appreciation, and to explore its educational potential. To this end, a design and development research method was applied. First, prior literature on music criticism theory and AI-based educational tools was analyzed, and a needs analysis was conducted in the context of high school music classes to derive the question rules and design principles of the chatbot. Afterwards, a question structure was designed according to the critique stage, and a chatbot prototype that induces writing of appreciation in stages using generative AI was developed. The completed prototype was reviewed for its educational validity and practicality through a validation procedure targeting four music education experts, and in addition, a usability evaluation targeting 10 music education graduate students was conducted to examine its actual usability and learner responses. As a result, the design principle of the chatbot was positively evaluated in terms of validity and usefulness, and high validity was secured in all areas of chatbot implementation. and in particular, its potential as an effective support tool for improving learners’ autonomous writing and appreciation skills was confirmed. This study has theoretical and practical significance in that it presents a specific practical model for utilizing generative AI in music appreciation education.
