대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시에 관한 연구 동향: 국내 학술지를 중심으로

Research Trends on Perfectionistic Self-Presentation among College Students: Focusing on Domestic Journals

본 연구는 대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시에 관한 기존 연구 동향을 분석하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국교육학술정보원(RISS)을 활용하여 '대학생 완벽주의적 자기제시'를 주요 키워드로 검색한 후, 총 36편의 국내 학술 논문을 분석하였다. 연구대상, 연구방법 및 연구주제, 측정도구, 연구변인을 기준으로 연구 동향을 살펴본 결과, 대학생을 대상으로 한 완벽주의적 자기제시 연구는 2010년부터 진행되었으며, 특히 2020년과 2022년, 2024년에 가장 활발히 이루어졌다. 연구 방법은 양적 연구가 대부분을 차지하며, 변인 간 관계를 분석하는 연구가 주를 이루었다. 또한, 대학생의 완벽주의적 자기제시는 주로 독립변인으로 사용되었으며, 사회불안, 자존감 불안정성, 우울감 등 다양한 심리적 요인과 밀접한 연관이 있음이 확인되었다. 측정 도구로는 하정희(2011)가 번안한 한국판 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도(PSPS-K)가 가장 많이 사용되었다. 본 연구는 완벽주의적 자기제시의 심리적·사회적 영향을 더욱 깊이 탐구할 필요성을 제시하며, 향후 연구에서는 질적 연구와 상담 개입 연구의 필요성을 강조하였다. 이를 통해 대학생의 심리적 적응과 대인관계 개선을 위한 실질적인 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

The aim of this study was to analyze trends in research on perfectionistic self-presentation among college students and propose directions for future studies. Thirty-six domestic academic papers were analyzed using the keyword “college students”, “perfectionistic self-presentation” from the Korea Education & Research Information Service (RISS). Research trends were examined based on the subjects, methods, topics, measurement tools, and variables in these studies. The results showed that research on college students began in 2010, with the most active studies occurring in 2020, 2022, and 2024. Most studies employed quantitative methods, focusing primarily on analyses of the relationships between variables. Additionally, perfectionistic self-presentation was primarily used as an independent variable and found to be closely linked to various psychological factors, such as social anxiety, unstable self-esteem, and depression. The most commonly used measurement tool was the Korean version of the Perfectionistic Self-Presentation Scale (PSPS-K), translated by Ha Jeong-hee (2011). This study underscores the need for further exploration into the psychological and social impacts of perfectionistic self-presentation and emphasizes the importance of qualitative research and counseling interventions in future studies. The findings provide valuable foundational data for improving college students' psychological adaptation and interpersonal relationships.
