미술치료에서의 증거기반 사례개념화 적용가능성 탐색을 위한 문헌고찰 연구

Examining the Applicability of Evidence-Based Case Conceptualization in Art Therapy: A Scoping Review Study

본 연구는 증거기반 사례개념화의 개념을 정리하고, 이를 미술치료에 적용하는 방안을 탐색하며, 효과적인 개입 전략을 도출하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 Arksey와 O’Malley(2005)가 제시한 주제범위 문헌고찰 방법론을 기반으로, Levac, Coloquhoun과 O’Brien(2010)의 확장된 가이드라인을 반영하여 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 증거기반 사례개념화는 내담자의 심리적 문제를 구조화하고 맞춤형 치료 계획을 수립하며, 과학적 근거를 기반으로 개입 전략을 체계화하는 과정임을 확인하였다. 또한, 미술치료에서 이를 적용하면 치료 효과를 객관적으로 평가하고 체계적으로 구조화할 수 있으며, 치료 신뢰성을 높일 수 있음을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 미술치료에서 증거기반 사례개념화를 적용하기 위한 세 가지 개입전략을 제안하였다. 첫째, 치료 효과를 객관적으로 검증하기 위해 정량적 연구를 강화하고 미술치료 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 증거기반 개념을 적용한다. 둘째, 증거기반 실천을 미술치료에 반영하여 치료 프로토콜과 표준화된 임상 가이드라인을 마련 한다. 셋째, 신경과학적 연구 및 디지털 기술을 활용하여 치료 효과를 정밀하게 측정하고 과학적 근거를 보다 정교하게 구축한다. 본 연구는 미술치료에서 증거기반 사례개념화를 적용하는 것이 치료의 체계성과 신뢰성을 높이는 데 기여할 수 있음과, 향후 실증 연구를 통한 구체적인 임상 적용 방안 마련이 필요함을 제안하는 데 의의가 있다.

This study aimed to define evidence-based case conceptualization (EBCC), explore its applicability to art therapy, and derive effective intervention strategies. A scoping review was conducted following Arksey and O’Malley’s (2005) framework, incorporating extended guidelines by Levac, Colquhoun, and O’Brien (2010). Findings indicated that EBCC provided a structured process for understanding psychological problems, developing individualized treatment plans, and systematizing intervention strategies based on scientific evidence. Applying EBCC to art therapy enabled the objective evaluation of treatment outcomes, enhanced therapeutic coherence, and improved clinical reliability. The study identified three key strategies for integrating EBCC into art therapy: (1) strengthening quantitative research to validate therapeutic outcomes; (2) developing standardized clinical guidelines through evidence-based practice; and (3) using neuroscience and digital technologies to more precisely measure treatment effects. These strategies supported a more rigorous and structured framework for art therapy. This study demonstrates the potential of EBCC to increase the scientific credibility of art therapy and emphasized the importance of further empirical research for clinical implementation.
