텔레코칭을 통한 가정기반 개별시도교수가 자폐성 장애 아동의 언어행동 과제 수행에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Home-Based Discrete Trial Training through Telecoaching on the Verbal Behavior Task Performance of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

본 연구는 텔레코칭을 통한 가정기반 개별시도교수가 자폐성 장애 아동의 언어행동 과제 수행과 어머니의 중재 수행 정확도에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 자폐성 장애 아동과 어머니 3쌍을 대상으로, 각 가정에서 대상자 간 중다기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 중재는 연구자가 어머니에게 개별시도교수를 행동기술훈련 절차에 따라 교육하고, 실시간 텔레코칭을 통해 어머니가 자녀에게 개별시도교수를 직접 실행하도록 하였다. 연구 결과, 아동의 언어행동 과제 수행률은 기초선 평균 15.1%에서 중재 단계 평균 62.9%로 증가하였으며, 유지 단계에서도 평균 90.5%로 나타났다. 일부 아동은 일반화 단계에서도 평균 80.3%까지 향상되었다. 어머니의 중재 수행 정확도는 기초선 평균 20.1%에서 중재 단계 평균 90.8%로 높아졌고, 유지 단계에서도 평균 99.9%를 기록하였다. 이를 통해 텔레코칭 기반 부모 교육이 아동의 언어행동 과제 수행률 향상과 부모의 중재 실행 역량 강화에 효과적임을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 가정 중심 중재의 실행 가능성과 지속 가능성을 뒷받침할 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study aimed to examine the effects of home-based discrete trial training (DTT) delivered through telecoaching on the verbal behavior task performance of children with autism spectrum disorder and the intervention fidelity of their mothers. The participants were three dyads consisting of children with autism and their mothers, and a multiple baseline design across subjects was applied in each home setting. The intervention followed the behavior skills training (BST) procedure, in which the researcher taught mothers how to implement DTT and provided support through real-time telecoaching. The results showed that the children's verbal behavior task performance increased from an average of 15.1% during baseline to 62.9% during intervention and was maintained at 90.5% on average in the maintenance phase. Some children also demonstrated improvements during generalization, reaching an average of 80.3%. The mothers’intervention fidelity improved from a baseline average of 20.1% to 90.8% during intervention and was maintained at 99.9% during the maintenance phase. This study showed the feasibility and sustainability of home-based parent-implemented interventions.
