사회 및 교육 문제 해결 위한 행동과학의 실천적 접근 탐색

Exploring Practical Approaches of Behavioral Science for Resolving Social and Educational Issues

본 연구는 현대 사회와 교육 문제 개입에 있어서 행동과학의 유용성을 고찰하고, 행동분석전문가의 역할을 포함한 행동과학의 실천적 접근법을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 문헌 고찰을 통해 우선 사회 및 교육 현장의 문제 해결에 있어서 행동과학의 유용성, 응용행동분석 연구 및 현장 적용과 관련된 최근 쟁점, 응용행동분석의 이념과 글로벌 이니셔티브 및 국가 정책 방향과의 상응성을 살펴보았고, 마지막으로 향후 사회 및 교육 문제해결을 위한 응용행동분석의 과학적 실천 방안과 행동분석전문가의 역할을 탐구하였다. 연구 결과, 행동과학은 건강 증진, 환경 보호 등 다양한 분야에서 효과적인 개입을 가능하게 하는데 중요한 역할을 하며, 응용행동분석의 이념은 글로벌 이니셔티브와 국내 교육 정책 방향과 밀접하게 연관되어 있음을 확인하였다. 응용행동분석의 현장 실천에서 제기된 다양한 쟁점에 대해서는 사회 및 교육 문제 해결을 위한 정책 수립과 실행 과정에서 문화적 반응성 고려가 필요하며, 향후 지속가능한 응용행동분석 서비스 제공을 위해 개별차원의 중재 뿐 아니라 서비스 제공 기관의 서비스 품질 개선이 중요함이 제기되었다. 본 연구는 또한 행동분석전문가가 응용행동분석 8차원을 이해하고, 연민과 윤리를 바탕으로 내담자의 요구를 반영한 연구와 중재를 실행해야 함을 강조하였다.

This study aimed to examine the usefulness of behavioral science in addressing contemporary social and educational issues and to explore practical approaches in behavioral science, including the role of behavior analysts. Through a literature review, the study first investigated the utility of behavioral science in solving problems in social and educational contexts, recent issues related to applied behavior analysis (ABA) research and field applications, and the alignment of ABA principles with global initiatives and national policy directions. Lastly, it explored scientific practice methods of ABA for future social and educational problem-solving and the role of behavior analysts. The results of the study confirmed that behavioral science plays a crucial role in enabling effective interventions in various fields such as health promotion and environmental protection, and that the principles of ABA are closely linked to global initiatives(For example, EFA, MDGs, SDGs) and domestic educational policy directions. Regarding the various issues raised in the field practice of ABA, the study highlighted the need to consider cultural responsiveness in the policy-making and implementation processes for solving social and educational problems. Additionally, for the sustainable provision of ABA services in the future, it was emphasized that not only individual-level interventions but also improvements in the service quality of providing organizations are essential. This study also stressed that behavior analysts must understand the eight dimensions of ABA and conduct research and interventions that reflect the needs of clients based on compassion and ethics.
