사회복지사로 취업하기 위해 무엇을 어떻게 준비해야 할까? -신입 사회복지사들의 취업 경험

To get a job as a social worker What and how to prepare? -the employment experience of new social workers

본 연구의 목적은 ‘사회복지사로 취업하기 위해 무엇을 어떻게 준비해야 할까?’라는 연구문제를 해결하는 것이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 연구는 사회복지사로 취업한 8인을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시했고, 현상학적 연구방법으로 분석했다. 연구 결과 53개의 중심 의미가 도출되었으며, 이는 4개 구성요소에 대한 10개의 하위 구성요소로 나타났다. 연구자는 4개 구성요소를 ‘취업준비를 위한 대학생활’, ‘자원봉사와 실습의 연계’, ‘취업과정 중 느낀 점’, ‘취업을 위한 제언’으로 분류했다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 본 연구에서는 사회복지사로 취업하기 위하여 다음과 같은 제언을 했다. ① 자원봉사와 실습을 연계하여 취업 준비하기, ② 학생회, 동아리 등 다양한 활동에 적극적으로 참여하기, ③ 사회복지 인접 학문에 대해 이해하기, ④ 취업 관련 사회복지 전공 맞춤형 비교과 프로그램 운영

This study was conducted to achieve the research purpose of ‘What and how should I prepare to get a job as a social worker?’ To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 people who were employed as social workers. And it was analyzed by phenomenological research methods. As a result, 53 semantic units were derived, which appeared as 10 sub-components integrated on 4 core themes. The researcher classified the four topics into ‘University life to prepare for employment’, ‘Link between volunteering and social welfare practice’, ‘Feelings during the employment process’, and ‘Suggestions for employment’. Based on these research results, this study made the following suggestions to get a job as a social worker. ① Systematic preparation for volunteering and social welfare practice, ② Active participation in various activities such as student council and clubs, ③ Understanding of studies adjacent to social welfare, ④ Operation of a customized comparative department program for employment-related social welfare majors.
