우선돌봄아동의 자아존중감 및 자기효능감 향상을 위한 집단미술치료 사례연구

A Case Study on Group Art Therapy to Improve Self-esteem and Self-efficacy of Priority Care Children

본 연구는 집단미술치료가 우선돌봄아동의 자아존중감 및 자기효능감 향상에 미치는 효과에 대하여 살펴보았다. 연구대상은 D광역시 B구에 위치한 G지역아동센터의 13세 아동 3인이다. 연구기간은 2022 년 3월 25일부터 7월 1일까지, 주 1회 60분씩 총 15회기의 집단미술치료를 실시하였다. 프로그램 사전, 사후에 Lahad(2013)의 여섯 조각 이야기와 Burns & Kaufman(1972)의 동적 가족화를 실시하여 자아존 중감과 자기효능감의 변화를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 연구대상의 자아존중감이 사전에 비해 사후에 증가하였으며, 하위 영역인 자기긍정과 자기통찰 역시 향상되었다. 또한 연구대상의 자기효능감 역시 사전에 비해 사후에 증가하였으며, 하위 영역인 문제해결능력과 회복탄력성 역시 향상되었다. 따라서 본연구는 집단미술치료가 우선돌봄아동의 자아존중감 및 자기효능 향상에 효과적임을 밝혔다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 우선돌봄아동에 자아존중감 향상 및 자기효능감 향상을 위한 집단미술치료 프로 그램 개발 등 복지현장에 필요한 부분에 대한 지속적인 연구를 계속해 나가야 할 것이다.

This study examined the effect of group art therapy on the improvement of self-esteem and self-efficacy of priority care children. The subjects of this study are three 13-year-old children at the G Regional Children's Center located in B-gu, D Metropolitan City. During the study period, from March 25 to July 1, 2022, a total of 15 group art treatments were conducted for 60 minutes once a week. Before and after the program, the changes in self-esteem and self-efficacy were analyzed by conducting a six part story making of Lahad (2013) and Kinetic Family Drawing of Burns & Kaufman (1972). As a result of the study, the subjects' self-esteem after the program increased compared to before, and the sub-variables of self-affirmation and self-reflection also improved. Also the subjects' self-efficacy improved compared to before, and the sub-variables of problem-solving ability and resilience also improved. Therefore, this study revealed that group art therapy is effective in improving self-esteem and self-efficacy of priority care children. Based on the results of this study, further research is needed on aspects necessary for welfare, such as the development of group art therapy programs aimed at improving self-esteem and self-efficacy in priority care children.
