This study investigated the effects of a university student-led multicultural mentoring program on the psychosocial adaptation of multicultural middle school students. Thirty students enrolled in multicultural-concentrated schools in Gyeonggi Province participated in an unstructured mentoring program over a period of three months. Changes in psychological and social adaptation were measured before and after the program. The results showed statistically significant improvements in Korean language confidence, peer relationships, social participation, and bicultural acceptance. However, no significant changes were found in Depressed mood, Korean language anxiety, or academic self-efficacy. These findings suggest that mentoring serves as an effective intervention strategy to enhance language-related confidence and promote social integration among multicultural adolescents.
